about.
My love of jewellery was captured as a child, a gift that my father gave to me on a return trip to Kenya where I was born and raised. It was the most beautiful bag of necklaces.
From there my history in textiles and colour has developed a passion and sensual attention to detail, creating a diverse use of colour combinations, utilising often an asymmetric placement of semi precious stones that creates pieces that are unique and wearable.

I find my inspiration comes from everywhere but especially travel and nature. I take these snapshots and move them into a visual form.
I see them as casual pieces, worn individually or layered up to create more of a statement piece.
I like to marry clashing colours alongside more harmonious ones - and semi precious stones alongside simple seed beads.
As a decorative person, jewellery has always been important to me, the gravity of what beautiful jewellery can add to an outfit is at the heart of my work - a desire to make the wearer feel more special.
